The royal Palace, which became later the prison Conciergerie, was the place where Marie Antoinette and hundreds of people were imprisoned and sentenced to death during the revolution.
The Sainte-Chapelle is a sophisticated two-storied chapel, which was built in the XIII century by king Saint Louis to house saint relics, which included the crown of thorns of Jesus.
